A new academic block for Pratap Public School, Karnal, a long, four-storey building with classrooms ranged along a single deep corridor on each floor.
The diagram is simple but careful: the corridors are wider than they need to be, slow enough to walk and sit in, and lit from a series of light wells that pull daylight down to the lowest floor. The classrooms face the playing fields on one side and a quieter pedestrian street on the other.
Currently under design, facade and classroom prototypes in development.
