A roadside commercial complex on NH-44 for the Goyal family, a mixed-use block of retail, a restaurant, and a small office floor above, set on a deep plot with a long highway frontage.
The facade is the project's hardest problem: a building that has to be legible to a driver doing eighty, and gracious to a customer walking up to it. The solution is a tall colonnade, a regular rhythm of mass that reads as a single line from the highway, then breaks down into individual shopfronts and recesses at human scale.
